Feng Shui of Year 2006

According to my prediction, 2006 and 2007 are one of the worst years in my life while 2003 until 2005 was one of the best years I’ve ever had. It was like in paradise during that past few years. I can rest and play games and still can get moderate results in my exam. If only I can turn back time. This year is full of frustrations and peer pressures as I have to work part time as a tutor and study form 4 syllabus at the same time. The government has been torturing us all these years by adding useless subjects in our syllabus. Among the subjects is Moral. What is the use for us to study that? Moral can’t be learned through theory but it can only be learned if it is cultivated since childhood by their parents. Once a person reaches the adolescence years, it would be hard to save them if they plunge into the world of darkness. One cannot learn any moral values by just opening the text book and memories the names and meanings of its contents. If that is effective, we would not have “pigs” and “dogs” in our society. The peoples of today would be well-mannered and social problems as well as crime incidents wouldn’t have existed. This is the same as history. What can we learn by studying the past? Is there really a need for us to know the ways livings of the ancient civilizations? Can it inspire us to improve our lifestyles or help us get richer? OK, I admit that the history of the world wars can prevent another by letting the people know the negative effects of war. One of it is World War 2 which had bombarded the whole Nagasaki and Hiroshima into oblivion. Still, what about the rest such as the History of Islam and the civilization of Yunani? This is preposterous!!!! As Chinese, we were taught to let go of the past and move forward but they are the opposite by letting go of the future and move backwards. Can’t they just let bygones be bygones? Things don’t end there when I can’t quit my job this year. I told Mr.Ong about my studies and I don’t have any time to spare for revision and leisure. He told me that is just a matter of adjusting my time. If that’s the problem, I wouldn’t have complained. Sometimes I have to do my homework until 12a.m. It’s not that I don’t want to adjust but it’s because my I don’t possess any time to adjust anymore. Things got worsen with my co-curriculum activities. At first, I thought of abandoning the marching (kawad kaki) competition to take a break since I have been taking part in it every year since form 1. Well, I was shocked during our first meeting when I was announced as the co-president of KRS (Kadet Remaja Sekolah). I was still a little blurred when my name was called out. Now, I am forced to attend the daily practice at 5p.m. until 6.45p.m. Take last Thursday for example. School ends at 1.45p.m. for science stream students. So, I quickly went out to have lunch since I had KRS activities at 2p.m. After we were dismissed at 3.30p.m., I have another co-curriculum activity which was fitness running (larian kecergasan) at 4.30p.m until 5.30p.m. When I reached home at 6p.m., I was completely exhausted. Yet, I can’t rest since I have to rush and get ready to go to Mr.Ong’s tuition centre to teach. I was so stressed and frustrated with my life when I got home. Moreover, I still had homework to do. I finished my work at 12.p.m but I just don’t have the mood to sleep and decided to hear some rock music before sleeping such as Simple Plan and Linkin Park to release my tension until 1.a.m. The funny thing is I didn’t felt sleepy the next day but when it reached noon, I started to get drowsy and fell asleep in Mr.Ong’s class Sleeping In Class . Situations at that night got quite intense when Mr.Ong and Miss Lim argue about their class arrangements.

I’m not the only one who is frustrated with life during form 4. Other than me is one of my best friends, Lychee. He encountered some difficulties which frustrates him as well. The first problem was his add math’s teacher, Mr.Sarjit. Lychee was once scolded by him but after that awful incident, he tried to mend the relationship with his teacher. Unfortunately, that teacher scolded him again and insulted him that he has no brain when Lychee said “haaaaaaa” when he said that they might need to come for an extra class at Saturday. Later, he told his parents about his teacher but he was scolded again by them for being impolite to the teacher. When it came to love, things turned out to be a tragedy too when he asked his girl friend if she would be willing to go out with him on a date. Sadly, she shook her head and did not said anything. This cut his heart even deeper (OUCH!!!). After school, I was shocked when he called me and told me what happened and started crying on the phone Crying 1 . I tried to coax and calm him down. I also told him that he is not the only person who had bad days in this world (If he lived in my world, I think he would cry the whole day). As a friend, I also adviced him that he must be more stout-hearted as there are more obstacles and pressures ahead when he comes out to work in the future. Hopefully with the correct guidance, pressure and advice, he will become more mature this year and not a “CC” boy anymore.

Hhhhhmmmm, I have not chat with Pei Wen via MSN for a long time already. Do you think that she has blocked me? I missed chatting with her. I hope that she will be online soon.
