I am quite confused with many things nowadays. I can’t really make a decision without thinking twice. There are many things that lurks in my mind which I don’t really sure how to decide. Love, study and work.........., the burdens and joys of life. Anyway, do you still remember the last time when I mentioned that I want to stop thinking of Pei Wen? Well, I think I’ll change my mind. A good bond of relationship is something that I have to put a lot of sincerity and effort to pursue instead of waiting for destiny to achieve it. On the every Wednesday, students who are taking science stream can only go back at 1.50 p.m. Coincidently, Pei Wen and I were waiting for our fathers to come and pick us since our teacher end the lesson at 1.45 p.m. As we were waiting, I went to her and finally, we do chat a little for 15 minutes before her father arrived. At that time, I was in cloud nine. I haven’t felt the joy of chatting with her for such a long time. When her father arrived, she invited me to use her accommodation together since my father didn’t come to pick me. However, I rejected her invitation since it was not a good scene for his father if he saw me with her chatting alone. When I was about to walk home, I heard a sudden ‘pon’ sound. It was his father asking me to get into the car. I was quite shocked and went into the car. It was one of the most unique memories which I will never forget. After that day, we started to talk a little. From her eyes, I guessed that we might still have a little spark in between us. Today, she has a rehearsal for the marching performance for the Award Day that will be held next Sunday. She cut her hair with a flat curve at her forehead and wore her complete St. John uniform to school. She looked really cute and pretty in that outfit with her new hairstyle.

For those who have gone through the days of Form 4, you will understand my sufferings and pains that I am going through now. I’m struggling very hard to cope with the stress and the long syllabuses of Form 4. For instance, there are 60+ pages to read for History and that only include chapter 1 and 2. It took me 1 hour to read 10 pages. After that horrible hour, my head started to ache which disabled my ability to absorb anymore knowledge. So, I just closed that hideous revision book, switched on my PC and played for an hour before starting my revision on Add Maths. The next day, I went to Lychee’s house to do our revision together. We started revising History at 8.40 a.m. and asked each other questions on the topics which we have read. It was a good revision as we can remind ourselves on the topics that we have read and revise the topics which we have missed out. We revised consecutively even though we are reluctant to read History. Eventually, we got bored and decided to revise Physics instead. Still, it was not easy as well. The formulae were confusing and long. In the end, we gave up and played Yu-Gi-Oh cards at 11.45a.m while waiting for my dad to fetch me. At that time, we were overcome by despair and boredom.

Days after that, we had our exam. It was a dreadful day as most of us didn’t do well in our exam especially physics, biology and add maths. There were too many things to read and too many knowledge to be absorbed. Besides that, lack of practise also caused me to fail my physics. I was fooled by the questions in subjective. I thought the first chapter for physic is mainly about the definition of physic theories but the question asked me about a weird experiment and the calculation of gradient and I got everything wrong. It was really a trap for students like me. I was also furious with add maths. I shouldn’t have spent the whole time thinking how to solve question no.4 but use the time wisely to check my answers instead. If I did so, I would get an A for my add maths. Another subject that made me felt frustrated and despair was biology. I thought I can get an A for my biology since I have spent a lot of time reading the textbook. I read every page for chapter 1 and 2 and spent such a long time to visualise the cells and its functions but in the end, to my surprise, teacher used questions from a revision book which was not in the textbook or even in the syllabus. In the textbook, only the unicellular organism, ‘Amoeba’ are stated but in the revision book, there is one extra note about paramecium!!! This really confused me. Besides that, I would like to ask all of you. What the hell is schematic diagram??? It was not stated anywhere in the textbook nor in the revision book. I lost approximately 6 marks (haven’t multiplied it with the marking scheme yet) at the part where it ask us to draw a schematic diagram on how the body systems regulate the blood osmotic pressure!!!! What a catastrophe for me. It was really a disastrous exam. My record of never failing in an exam before will be broken!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!
