Exam? What's That? *Updated 2

Since I haven't been blogging for such a long time, I'll write a short post today. Today, I went to KLCC to check out the last day of PC Fair while everyone was cramming on their study notes. I know....I know... I should be studying too. I did this because I have a good reason behind it. I went there because I wanted to :

  1. Enquire something about Streamyx

  2. Compare other handphone service providers

  3. Check out any worthwhile bargains for PC accessories

  4. Watch the hot PC Fair promoters

  5. Buy birthday presents for Jian Shi, Xinzi and Yan Siong.

After 3 hours of walking around KLCC, I ended up RM196.35 poorer. Here's what I bought:

A new Glaser mouse

Two cartridges of ink. Apparently, there were good bargains for original HP inks during the PC fair. My ink which normally cost RM60 only cost RM40 for the black cartridge and RM53 for the tri-colour cartridge. Apart from having a good discount, they were giving out free HP stationary sets for each cartridge of ink you purchased.

The stationary sets contain: a stapler, a box of staples,a cellophane tape set, an eraser, a pen and a cute mini bag to store your HP stationary sets. A pretty good bargain wouldn't you say.

I also bought a multi card reader.

A 2GB micro sd card for Jian Shi's birthday present

A pencil case for Xinzi's birthday

And a handphone bag for Yan Siong's birthday.

Hehehe..... Don't worry. I will reveal the pictures when the time comes. For the time being, those presents remain confidential.

However, here are some clues for you to guess what I bought for them.

For Jian Shi's present. You can find the clue in this blog if you read and examine this short post meticulously.

As for Xinzi and Yan Siong's present, here's a picture clue for you to guess the presents.

Another clue for you. They are used to store things.

For those who do not know, Jian Shi and Xinzi's birthday are on the 11th and 12th of Dec. So coincident wouldn't you say?

My 19th Birthday

Yesterday was a well spent day for me. I went to Times Square with my old school mates: Zhong Yao, Nam Yen, Yong Sing and Jian Shi. After hearing so many people bragging about the latest transformer movie, we finally went to watch it yesterday.

Transformers Revenge of The Fallen

We went to GSC cinema at Times Square to watch the movie. It was a good decision for us to watch it at later as by the time we went to watch it, all the hype about that movie has almost subsided. When we entered the cinema room, the room was so empty that it felt like GSC is losing business. Only a few people were in the room when we went in there at 1.40 p.m. The room was so empty that we can choose wherever we want to sit regardless of the sit number assigned to our tickets. Nobody is following the rules anymore. Some strangers even sat on the seats that we have booked earlier.

After watching the sequel, I would say that the movie improved a lot during the second release.
Compared to the first one,

1.) The babes are hotter

Megan Fox

Don't be fooled by her appearance. This girl is actually a decepticon.

2.) Optimus Prime is back with more firepower and stronger than ever.

Optimus Prime with his new cannon

Sam! We need your help!

Come On!!! I'll take on all of you!!!

3.) There are new characters

Jetfire. An old decepticon who has turn sides. He is now an autobot

He's literally very old. Look! He's even using a walking stick

4.) The Bad guys are back. Bigger, Badder, Meaner and Uglier!!!

The Fallen

Starscream

Devastor. Made from a combination of several decepticons

5.) You can watch the old version of the autobots and decepticons

The heaven of autobots. In the background are the "Primes". They are the ancestors of the autobots.

After watching the movie, I was suprised that "The Star" only gave the movie a rating of 3/5.
At first, I even thought of watching Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. Luckily we didn't. Being a boy who likes action-packed films with robots and explosions, I would give this movie a rating of 4/5.

During the movie, I also "curi-curi" took some photos with my handphone. I didn't manage to take some good photos though because I was too enthralled by the movie. The movie was just too fascinating to be doing other things that would risk missing out the good parts. Plus, I was afraid that later I would get apprehended by the security on my way out. Don't forget my pathetic phone camera only has 0.3 megapixel.

After watching the movie, we went to Sungei Wang to have lunch. Not sure where to eat, we decided to dine at U-Village. You'll be able to spot it at the alley which borders Sg Wang and Low Yat. The place is usually packed with customers when we go there. So, we assume that the food is also good.

Plagiarized from another blog. ~Paiseh~Paiseh~

I ordered BBQ Pork Rice with Salted Egg and a plate of fried prawn dumplings.

The "Char Siew" was very smooth and succulent. The skin was not too scorced, and was just nice and crispy. The best "Char Siew" I've ever eaten.

Only remembered to take photo just before finishing it.

Damn big shrimp and lots of fillings inside.
One comment: The food is very satisfying and the price is very reasonable. I will definitely visit that place again.
After lunch, we proceeded to go shopping at Low Yat before going home. I bought myself a stack of CD-R before going home.

I also got a present from Jian Shi, Xinzi and Yan Siong.

A blue Hush Puppy Shirt

= =! Cute dog.....

Anyway, I love that shirt. Thanks for the present.

It's the final countdown!!!

In approxiamtely 5 minutes, I will be a full-fledged 19 year old. ~Sigh~, time seems to pass so fast. It felt just like yesterday when I was still an unriped teenage boy in secondary school. In a few more years, I'll leap into adulthood. Who knows? May be I'll marry a lady and settle down and have kids of my own.

A blink of an eye later, I will be retiring from my job.
A few more blinks later, I would be using a walking stick and reading glasses.

A few more blinks later,......

Let's not talk about that first. I'm still too young to talk about "you know what".

While waiting for that moment to come, let's have a glimpse of what I have been through all these years. No la! I'm not "you know what". I mean my birthday. In case you don't know, my birthday falls on the 4th of August.

Here's a glance on my memoirs of my life :

1990: I was born! Woo Hoo! Hello world. Here I come!

1991: Can't remember a thing. = =!

1992: Still can't remember anything.

1993: Err, I remembered living in a house in Jinjang if I'm not mistaken. I still can remember the living room where I used to play. I remembered the kitchen where my mother used to cook at. I also remembered some bad incidents which I witnessed as a small child. Sorry, this is confidential.

1994: Moved to Kampung Baru Ampang.

1995: Enrolled in Tadika Fatimah. I still remembered the Indian lady who taught me. The kindergarten was an old fashioned kindergarten. Throughout my years of studying at that place, I can only remember:

  1. Sitting down

  2. Looking at the board

  3. Repeating after the teacher
  4. Coming out in front to talk

  5. And of course, lots and lots of work sheet

I also remembered that fierce bus driver who drives me home. Everytime we got noisy he would stop the bus and bring out the cane to make us quiet. Enrolled in mental arithmetic and English classes. STARTED TUITION AT 5 YEARS OLD!!!

1996: Still in the same kindergarten. Went to Mines Wonderland during a class trip at the end of the year.

1997: Began my formal schooling at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Kosas. Got into a fight with an Indian boy during my first day of school and broke my arm. LOL.

1998: Don't remember anything special

1999: My virgin trip to Genting Highland. My elder step-sister migrated to America.

2000: Went for tuition at Pusat Tuisyen Ampang.

2001: Don't remember anything special.

2002: Obtained 5 straight As in my UPSR. Dad bought me a PS2.

2003: Bought my first spectacles. Diagnosed for short-sightedness. Had my first crush on a girl.

2004: Worked at a Yong Tau Foo restaurant as a waiter. Got fired for the 1st time.

2005: Almost started to "pak tor". Got 7 straight As in my PMR. Started to work part-time as a tutor at Pusat Tuisyen Ampang.

2006: Broken hearted. Felt what it's like to be jealous for the first time. OUCH!!!

2007: Got only 6 A1, 2 A2 and 3 B3 in my SPM. Played too much.

2008: Decided to take up Early Childhood Education at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur. Obtained a full tuition fee waiver from the college.

2009: Taught in a taska during my practicum.

2010: Coming soon.

I'll blog more about my past later when I have time. I've also added a slide show of the pictures when I was young. That's it for now. Presents anyone?
