Love is torment

I am quite depressed these days. My heart has become very heavy and painful due to my romance life. This time, I really think that I’m not that suited for her. Today, when I was on my way home from the LRT station, I met one of my friends “Chai Li Chen”. We chat for a while about my romance and my relationship with Pei Wen. The friend I mentioned is a girl also but don’t misunderstand me because she is also one of my best friends whom I like to chat and share my secrets with. There is a problem between me and Pei Wen. It seems like I have lots of things to talk when I am facing my friends but when I am chating with her, I am speechless. It’s like talking to a stranger I’ve just met. I don’t want to say in front of her. I think the cause of this problem might because we are too fast. Sometimes, I wish that time would turn back it self and she did not expressed her feelings that early and we could start all over from scratch. This way, we could know each other better and have a better conversation in life instead of being so speechless and useless. Besides that, I still have another problem. After hearing what Chai Li Chen said, I’ve been doing some thinking myself. She said that Nam Yen might have an important place in Pei Wen’s heart. May be she is correct because both of them have been good friends for a long time. When one of them have some problems, they will talk to each other about it. They also have the same interest which is watching movies. Therefore, both of them have lots of things to talk unlike me. I also like watching movies but the problem is I don’t have Astro and my dad don’t like to waste money on buying VCDs. In addition, both of them are neighbours and during certain times like this year’s mooncake festival, Pei Wen went to Nam Yen’s house. Things doesn’t ends there. Both of them also have their own handphone and they also like to play miss calls and sms among themselves. I am different from them because my interests lie in computers and games. Therefore, it is hard for me to find something to talk to her. Both of us like songs too but I prefer to hear English songs because I don’t know how to sing Chinese and Cantonese songs but she is the opposite. Sometimes when she is playing Chinese chess or discussing something about Chinese or talking about movies, I would just sit there and listen. All of this makes me feel really useless sometimes and I hate myself for that reason. Sometimes, I even think of breaking up with her before we start to “pak tor” to prevent unhappy endings between us but I just can’t do it. I am really jealous of Nam Yen. In conclusion, I think I’m not ready for romance yet. I might want to concentrate on being a normal teenager first.

Important Announcement

For the knowledge of my readers, I have decided to delay the release date of my new blogs to November to ensure the quality and the design of the blog to be perfect. This is because my schedule is fully booked until the end of October due to PMR. Besides, I have to upload numerous pictures, articles and even check it twice to make sure that it would satisfy my readers. In addition, I will also change the links that I have now into buttons which will look much nicer. In order to do this, I have to surf the net to find services that offer buttons creation with beautiful and magnificent designs instead of just lame and dull-looking buttons. Other than that, there are also many other elements that need to be given attention such as templates, my display pictures and etc that are essential in creating an interesting and attractive blog. In conclusion, not everyone has what it takes to develop a succesful blog. As for those who are capable of doing so, they will be able to broaden their chest and put a smile on their face for they will be praised and acknowledged by their readers but for those who fail to do so, they will face a catastrophe of being criticise for their poor and lame work. Therefore, I welcome anyone who wants to contribute and help out in making my blogs look better.

Why is the world so cruel!!!

Why the world is so cruel these days? Tell me the reason!!! Let me tell you guys a good news. Don’t misunderstand me as this is not about my love story. I almost got full A’s for my trial and final exam. The only problem now is my English teacher because she has only given us our paper 1 but there is no sign of paper 2. She said that she will give us the next Monday making us worry about our results. I am quite worried because this I did many grammar mistakes for paper 2(I think) .This makes me to feel worried the whole week and nervous until I can’t really enjoy myself when I played Yu-Gi-Oh cards at school. We are not certain that whether our English teacher is really a lazy teacher or she is a kind hearted person. There are rumors saying that she is a lazy teacher and haven’t finish marking our papers even though there is a week holiday. Still, there are still rumors saying that she is actually trying to add marks for those who scored 74 which is only 1 mark away from getting an A. Both of them have their own logics, therefore it is hard for me to choose. I didn’t dare to make guesses as she is my teacher and have contributed some useful knowledge to me. I will tell you something. All of us have grammar, essay and reading comprehension books. It was really an odd thing as we had sent in our books for nearly half a year now and she still haven’t returned our books yet. She was like a black hole that sucks everything inside and the things that have been sucked into it will never be seen again. Nothing can escape her even our books. What’s so hard on marking our books? Weird.

Starting yesterday, I have just known how much fun Yu-Gi-Oh can be. I was quite impressed with the game play and many kinds of spell cards and monsters. Anyway, I still hate some of the weird looking monsters except if they are powerful. It was due to the influence of Lychee, Goat and Durian.

Now for romance. Looks like I am really a failure. I still can’t get rid of the shyness I have every time I meet her face to face. This is really embarrassing as she also complains about this sometimes we chat. The shyness in me sometimes overcomes me making me feel speechless and feel afraid to go to her seat to chat with her. It also cause me to be quiet than usual when she is near me. Sometimes, I also feel afraid when considering doing something because I am scared that I might something childish or immature in front of her. You can really see the difference when I am school and at tuition. At school, I am a little polite, shy and quiet compared when I am in tuition where I am free to do whatever I want. It was like school is a prison while at tuition I have freedom and reach independence. As a result of my shyness, we have decided to be friends until after PMR. This might give a chance to know her better before we even stared anything between us. I hope that I will make good use of this opportunity and won’t let myself and her down. It I fail this time, I might not for forgive myself forever.

From good turns to bad

Guaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaheeeeeeeeeeee............................(crying) :'( , looks like things doesn’t work out that smoothly on Sunday. Pei Wen and I didn’t talk much that day. I just don’t feel like talking to her today. Pei Wen and one of my friend (a boy also) chat together about something the whole day which is just not my style of talking. It’s sort of like those modern teenagers that talk about handphones and uses Cantonese jokes and words that I’m not that familiar with. So, I just walk with another 3 of my friends and talk a little bit about Buddhism and computer games. I do felt a little angry and jealous though because both of them just walk and chat together as they are the one who are in love with each other. It made me feel uncomfortable. I also felt that may be we are not that suited for each other or we started too early because we haven’t really understand each other even since form 1. I never really chat with her face to face except on the phone and on msn. Then when it is time for lunch, we walk together with another friend to buy something to eat. Still, she was like ignoring me and talk to that other friend of mine only. We were still able to talk for a while but not for long. May be it was me who did not how to communicate and mix with others. After thinking for a while, I started to think who I can really talk with at school. The only good friends I have that I can really chat with is Lychee, Vampire, Yao-Yao, Bold pak cik and Ngan Yan Peanuts .I think they are different from the others. I don’t know how to express this. It is like they are not that modern. We can chat about tv programmes, movies, games, incidents that happen in our daily life and our problems together. Is it because I am too serious or too quiet at certain times. Thinking about this is really stressful and when we about to go home I started to have a headache. Therefore, remember what I said before “don’t expect the unexpected in your life”. It turned out to be a sad and unhappy day for me. I was expecting to be happy and have fun at there but instead I came back with an angry, sad and jealous heart.

Lets stop discussing about this heart-breaking story, it starting to worsen my headache again. Well, today we went and watch a funny and “fei” movie. It is called drink drank drunk. It is a Hong Kong movie. It is also categorized as a love movie. There is a part when Siu Man’s boyfriend meets back his old friend. He came back with a French girl and said that he had picked”pungut or chap” the girl up from the airport. When they arrived at Siu Man’s house both of them kissed and hugged each other in front of Siu Man and his boyfriend. Siu Man and his boyfriend saw that with their mouth wide open(shocked) .Actually the movie has a little sexual inflict but don’t misunderstood me it is not like a porn movie and it is not that serious. It is just because they use some dialogs such as the part when a group of girls quarrel. It is cause when three girls decided to get some customers by wearing sexy clothes. Then Siu Man and her friends did not agree with their method and they started quarrel. The group of girls said that Siu Man and her friends are jealous of them because they were not able to to satisfy men cannot give enough mother’s love because they have small breasts. Then, Siu Man and her friends fought back by saying that it is because the new style is to have small breast. You might imagine this as a very awful movie but if you see for your self and listen in Cantonese you will find it funny and laugh through out the whole movie. Besides as we said we laugh because the movie is really “fei”. That movie also makes us boys and girls look very bad and can’t be trusted. See the movie for yourself and you will understand and started laughing when you think back of the movie. Now, the only thing that I worried is my future with Pei Wen and my exam results that will be given out tomorrow. I am really worried because this is my first experience to love a girl and was hoping to that things will work between us. Unlike some other people who liked to play-play only, I am different because I am serious in his matter.

To my readers, please give me some tips and tell me what is wrong between us. Give me some advice on what should I do in the future. I will greatly appreciate your help if it is a useful tip.

La,la,la it's holiday again

As a start, I want to apologize for the late release of my new blog. I know all of you must be anxious to look at my new blog. Don’t worry because it will be made using Asashi technology. Hoooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy, finally holiday arrived and I can relax and play again(for a while only). I even borrowed Need For Speed Underground 2 from Gorrila. Still, it could turn out to be a happy holiday or half happy-half nightmare for me.

Ok, lets start from Monday. On that day, I went to my friend’s house nicknamed “Goat”. He was quite rich as he have 2 computers in his house. It still made me disappointed because he did not use the technology from Asashi. Instead, his computer are home made. This is because his father is an electronic expert. So, he knows very well how to handle and assemble a computer. His father also like to collect old computer parts such as motherboard, cd-rom, printers and many more as his hobby. He is a lucky kid because he owns a NVIDIA Geforce FX 5500 and 6600 on both of his PC. I went there with 2 of my friends who consist of Lychee and Durian. When we arrived at there, Goat’s family stared at Lychee with a little jealousy in their heart when he took out his Compaq notebook(government’s property). That Lychee did something stupid and did not want us to see it. For your information he is a fanatic of the Romance of 3 Kingdom(San Guo Ze). He cut his own face from his picture using Paint and paste it on top pf Liu Bei’s face thus becoming Liu Chee(adapted from his name) and put the picture as his wallpaper. An hour later, we decided to play Red Alert 2 on lan. So, Goat installed Red Alert 2 and played Warcraft 3 at the same time. Suddenly, his PC crashed and and showed no sign of life. Then, he reboot his PC and when all of a sudden, his PC crashed again when he tried to enter windows. He blamed that at his pirated windows. He tried to boot, reinstalled and use automatic recovery from the windows installation cd. After rebooting for almost 10 times, finally his PC was able to enter windows but as soon as he click on the start menu it crash again. Then he still did not give up and and rebooted another 5 times but this time it worked(Thank God). It was actually a hard disk failure. This wouldn’t had happen if he used Asashi technology.

On Wednesday, I have booked 2 courts at Dewan Dato’ Ahmad Razali. I had planned well with 12 friends before the holiday but guess what happened. Only 4 arrived!!!!!!!!!! In that case, I think I need to invite 20 people. By doing that, I think at least 8 will come. So, we just ignore them and continue playing. Since I had not been playing badminton for almost a month, my performance was decreased at first but after half an hour I was getting the hang of it. When we decided to play double, I was forced to team with Durian. This is because he is very “chuan” and always scolds and “ejek” us when we were unable to play well. We did not even said a word when he hit the shuttle into the net or did something stupid but things were different when we did not played well. He thinks he is very good and he can “pijak” us because he represents the school and had special training from his dad every day.

Eeeemmmm, let me tell something that might happen this Sunday. Last Sunday, Pei Wen asked me if I want to go a movie and a walk at Times Square with some friends. I agreed but I was not that approved with her idea as I wanted to study and my parents won’t be that happy if I go out and play before PMR ends. Still, I don’t want to let her down and therefore I agreed. I was planning on asking her out after PMR when both of us are free to do anything and I have save enough money from my part-time job during the holidays. Then, I can “belanja” or even buy her presents. Things started to get lucky when every person that I asked could not go out. So, I might have the chance to have a personal time with her to know her better. In the end, I hope nothing bad will happen that day and things will go smoothly for us. Namo Amitabha.

HELP!!!So many problem in my life

Hmmmmmm, this week was certainly a busy and tiring day. All the form 3 students were having their PMR trial exam. It was indeed a tiring day as I had to stay up late to study for the exam every night. The situation got worse when the forest somewhere at Kalimantan caught fire. The smoke from the fire caused a terrible haze. Unfortunately we are having our exam in the harsh conditions. Most of us covered our nose with handkerchiefs and bought masks to filter the air we breathe. Even our teacher can’t stand the thick haze. She tried to get some fresh air outside of the classroom but it is still the same as the air outside was also polluted with dust and smoke.The polluted air almost caused me to suffocate during exam. I wasn’t doing quite good in my English, Science and Moral. I was blanked when it was paper 2 for English. I think I did many grammatical mistakes and I can write better essay. I tried to write a new one but time doesn’t wait for me. If only the teacher would gave me 2 more minutes or I had the “sands of time” just like in the game “Prince of Persia”, I would be able to write a new and better essay. When I sat for paper 2 for science, I felt like choking someone or jumping of the building when there are 5 questions that I don’t know and never even read about it. First the question asked about the name of the tank used in the submarines to make the submarines float or sink. Then, it asked us to draw the experiment that is used to compare the speed of evaporation in a lab through humidity which I have no clue about it. The third question asked about the name of the 3 light rays that is used to show refraction and bending of light through a glass block. Last of all, there are 2 questions that asked about the hypothesis and the inference of an experiment. I had forgotten the difference between those two. I might still be able to answer it if just asked me about the hypothesis. Not knowing what to answer I just simply wrote any answer I can think of. Another subject that had given me a headache is Moral. I don’t think of Moral as an important subject. So, I did not even touch my moral notes. Besides, our Moral teacher only told us what to read at the day before exam. How would she expect us to read 7 topics in 2 days when there are still more important subjects? As a result, most of the questions that I answered are only depending on luck. Consequently, I would be in big trouble after the results of these subjects had been given out. The only thing now that I want to shout is AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!

It’s been a week now since Pei Wen and I expressed our feelings and things went well between us. I even chat with her on the phone for about 20 minutes. There is a problem though. One of my best friend nicknamed “Lychee” seems to get jealous. After suspecting us for having a relationship, he started to act quiet but things got better after I tried to chat and make jokes with for a couple of days. Still, things haven’t got better for Pei Wen and him. Before Pei Wen and I got together, both of them are good friends and chat together in class. He also had feelings for her but he was disappointed when she turned him down and said that she had feelings for another guy but she did not mentioned it was me. From that incidents onwards, he started to be quiet. Pei Wen was also unhappy about his quiet attitude and wanted to be friends with him again. Now I am not only busy studying but also busy thinking of a way to pursuade them to be friends again. I think the cold war will end itself because Lychee was a playful guy and I think he would soon let the problem go away. Still, does that count me as a bad person for competing with my friend in romance? Even how good my relationship with Lychee, I can’t put away my heart for Pei Wen. There is nothing I can do about it and I think everyone in this world is selfish when it comes to romance.

My First Love

To my fellow readers, this week I have a good announcement to make .It also count as one of my historical moment in my life. As you know yesterday was my birthday. The day before my birthday, I have planned with the girl I like to go online and chat at 10pm. At first we just chat for a while like saying hi and happy birthday .Then, she asked me what present I want for my birthday. She gave me 3 choices:

1.)Her
2.)A real present
3.)??????(I’ve forgotten)

I was shocked at first. I just told her that a wish for me to get 7 A’s is enough for me and hope that we will be friends forever. At first I thought that she was only playing around but I’ve discovered that she was serious later when she said it’s too bad and told me that a girl has started to have feelings for me since last year. She admitted that she was the girl and said that there was no need to lie because it is my birthday. After realizing that she was telling the truth, I quickly told my feelings for her that started since form 1. I started to like her when I was in form 1 but at that time I was a useless guy .At form 2 ,I was not sure if she had the same feelings towards me .So, I only treat her as my friend until now. We expressed our feelings and other stuff that other people my think it as disgusting for about half an hour. We enjoyed talking to each other. The next day, we didn’t talk much except when it is about time to go home .Today, of the students was absent due to the activities held for the Islam students .We chat for a while but I went away when because I can’t understand the topics that they are saying. They talked about songs which 50% of them I don’t have, Later ,I tried to chat with them and this time with the topic I can understand .Still ,every time I tried to talk ,her friend just keep blabbering non-stop. So, I just stick to the boys rather than them. Well, I would like to ask her out to a movie after PMR hoping that our relationship might work. At night, we met online and we break our record by chatting for 4 hours. All went well but there are four “fei chai” who always tried to disturb my romantic chat.

At tuition, another incident happened. Mr.Ong (my tuition teacher) enquired me if I would like to come and help him during tuition or at form 4. He said that I would be paid generously and get important and good experience if I am willing to work part time with him. It was a certainly an irresistible offer. Although it would be a good thing because I am quite close with him and he would be a good employer, it will make me hard to choose because I intend to change to Suria Tuition Centre next year. There are good reasons why I want to change to Suria. First, his style of teaching math is quite bad. For example, he teaches us to write the common solution for an Linear Inequality in the form like -35 which is not allowed and is not accepted as a correct answer. Sometimes I think that Killer XXX's and my math are better than his. Second, his tuition fees are way off my financial limits. Third, his style of teaching and the syllabus he used in his teachings isn’t according to the latest PMR format. This makes us hard to study according to his teachings.

A week of emotional feelings

This week ,we are back to my life. There are lots of good and bad incidents happened. On Tuesday ,the girl whom I like and a classmate of mine went for a quiz contest representing our school .At first ,our teacher told us that they are going to sit for a test just like the usual test that we take in our exam to determine who’s maths is better. Things changed when they arrived. Things didn’t go as planned ,when the quiz is an IQ test instead of the objective test that our teacher had said. It was really unfortunate for them because they only managed to achieve the 7th place after spending almost half of the day at there. It was certainly a pity because they are really good in maths and would certainly do well if it was a normal maths test. They would probably got at least the 3rd place and raise the name of our school to a higher standard if they had success in the quiz. The bad side is that I have a feeling of jealous in myself .It is against the Buddha’s teaching to have jealousy as it is one of the feelings that contribute to the sufferings that we faced in our life. I certainly agree with that because of the sadness I have been through in the past few days .The pain doesn’t come from the fact that they are chosen to represent the school to the quiz. Instead it is caused by the feeling of jealous of my friend nickname “tien chai” or “lieu liean”(durian) in my class. The good characteristics of him such as the humongous volume of knowledge he has and the ability to overcome other people in a speech or a quarrel made him almost irresistible for girls to be attracted to him including the girl I like. The characteristics that he has made him look mature and as they say “the beauty of a person comes from the inner self of the person”. Still ,I don’t want to rush and jump into a conclusion that she has feelings for him .Besides , there isn’t a person in this world who is perfect. Many of us agree that he likes to look down on others in certain ways just because he is better than others. He is a also cocky(sombong or “chuan”) person.

On Friday ,the head of our co-curriculum “Encik Kalim” had implanted feelings of hatred towards him in every Chinese student in our school by giving away a speech about how rude and useless we Chinese are. He had the speech so well done that he had make the scene as that the malays are the best race in Malaysia even though most of the malays in our school especially the form 4 and form 5 students are just pigs and bastards without any brain .How do expect this kinds of malays to run our country when their brains are nowhere to be found or located in their ass .No wonder our country is full of filthy rich ,money eating and corrupted malay officers. When the suns sets and the night replaced the day ,a girl who likes me nickname “Rainbow” called me and invite me to her birthday party but I rejected for several reasons .First ,I want her to give up on me and find another person better than me .Second ,PMR is near and I need to focus on my studies .Third ,I already have a girl I like .The last reason is that my dad will kill me if I go out with a girl like her. (She has bad personalities and her studies are bad)

Things turn out good again during Saturday when our school made a well managed Canteen Day or so called Family Day .It was a fascinating and busy day. Many students came with their family and friends causing the school to be crowded with thousands of people. People from kids to adults came to join the great event. Nearby shops in Taman Kosas had willingly sponsored some prizes to be given away for the winners the lucky draw contest. I also offered myself to help out during that day as a cadet in the uniformed unit known as KRS. As an expression of gratitude for our generosity ,some of us were given RM10 coupons as reward by the teachers. Spending RM20 coupons was a hard job when they are not much varieties of things sold .Most of the things sold were mainly food and second-hand products .We had no chance in trying the activities held such as flying fox ,the haunted house and etc as there were many people queuing up like a row of ants .Even though things doesn’t work that well for us ,I managed to have a chat and a walk with the girl I like. Although the situation was not that romantic but it was good enough for me and I felt happy about it. It will surely be great if the next coming days will always be like this. Besides ,what can you expect on that day when the place was supposed crowded with people from all sorts of age and race.

Chinese Hitman's Advice

Being sick is a normal situation that has to be faced by not only man but also plants and animals in their life .Every man has their own perspectives about being sick .Some think it as a punishment from god to those who have done countless sins in their life but others prefer to think it in a more logical and sensible way that sickness and diseases are caused by bacteria and viruses that are present almost everyplace and things that we touch and use in our daily life .Even the air that we breathe consists of tiny microorganism that can’t be seen by naked eyes .This makes us vulnerable to diseases if we do not practice and cultivate healthy ways of living .A person must be willing to sacrifice and prevent himself from eating some of his favorite such as fast foods ,fried foods and junk foods if he wish to live a healthy life .Instead of dieting or fasting ,one can be healthy just by eating more vegetables and fruits but cut down on salt ,sugar and oil .Just like my parents who always say that “An apple a day ,keeps the doctors away” .Dieting and fasting are not necessary unless their religion asked them to do so .One should not practice this methods as they are unhealthy and can lead to malnutrition problems .Besides eating healthy ,one should also consider exercising more frequently if they want to keep fit and a good health .Exercising at least 2 times a week helps to improve our stamina and keeps us energized .When we exercise ,our body burns unnecessary calories thus keeping us fit and healthy .

This week ,I have decided to write tips on how to live a healthy life because I have been sick for the past few days and causing me much trouble and pain .Consequently ,I hope that all the readers that read my post would take my advice so that they would be healthy enough to continue to read my post in the future .

Intel has a secret, though. Did you know that the chipmaker produces a processor that only draws one fifth of the power of a desktop chip? Yes, this is a notebook processor we're talking about. So can this miracle chip be used in a desktop system? Does it pack enough punch for a gaming setup? Indeed, it does! Step back and enjoy as the team here at THG demonstrates.
In this article we to present the ingredients required for such a low-power system, namely the appropriate motherboard and the Pentium M processor. We also offer some advice on the correct graphics configuration. Of course, we'll show you the results of our power-consumption measurements, both for the CPU and the entire system, and demonstrate how remarkably fast the system is by providing some benchmarks.
Depending on the feature set, current PCs draw between 120 and 180 watts - even more in the case of dual-core Pentium D systems. The kicker is that these numbers represent the systems' minimum power consumption when idling! Yes, even when they are doing nothing, modern computers are adding extra digits to the bottom line of your power bill. And once you fire up a game, 300 watts or even more aren't outside the realm of possibility! And even though AMD has slightly less power-hungry processors with its Athlon 64 line, even they are only slightly better, drawing between 120 and 160 watts.
Now, if we compare the performance-to-energy requirements of the previous generation platform to that of today's offerings, it becomes painfully obvious that power hunger has grown much faster than the performance. And this is a trend that has not been seen in other components. Consider that the energy efficiency of power supplies has constantly improved over the past years, and devices such as hard disks, optical drives and RAM require relatively little power compared to core system components.

The Next Generation of Cool:AOpen's 37 Watt Pentium M Desktop PC
For most typical users, the upgraded chipset won't really be of much value. Corporate clients, for example, are only rarely interested in new features, and often prefer cheaper, pared-down versions of chipsets. To them, the cost/benefit ratio is usually the deciding factor. Instead, it is the home users, the multimedia users and the enthusiasts that are drawn to the new features.
Also, Intel has found it hard to showcase the perceived benefit of a well-equipped system based on newer platforms. Of course, no one is disputing that a Pentium 4 660 running at 3.6 GHz with DDR2 memory and a PCI Express graphics card packs more punch than a socket 478 Pentium 4 3.4 GHz with DDR400 memory and AGP. However, the increased performance comes at a hefty price, namely a 30% increase in the system's power consumption.
The lack of applications that would justify the development detailed above is beginning to haunt Intel. Not too long ago, hardware makers could rely on bleeding-edge games to ensure an adequately brief upgrade cycle. However, recent games have increasingly called for more potent graphics cards rather than more feature-rich platforms or faster processors.
It is only natural that as a result, some companies are beginning to rethink the standards that should define a "sensible" PC. Since the majority of users aren't fixated on getting the highest performance, the trend increasingly points to more energy efficient and, consequently, quieter components. A well designed, smart system may be more attractive to the average Joe than one that offers a little more performance at the cost of efficiency.
Intrigued by the ATX and microATX motherboards that AOpen makes based on the energy-efficient Pentium M processor, we decided to build a desktop system based on the i915GMm-HFS (microATX) board. This system has no trouble keeping up with current computers, yet offers significant advantages. For example, it forms the basis for a low-noise system, and draws a mere 37 watts when idle - about a third of what a typical P4 system uses.

Conclusion: A Matter Of Common Sense
With clock speeds that currently range as high as 2.13 GHz, the Dothan-based Pentium M with 2MB L2 cache offers the kind of performance we expect from a modern system. Depending on the application in question, the mobile processor offers performance comparable to a Pentium 4 running between 3 and 3.2 GHz. Using the chip, it is now possible to build a desktop computer with a power draw that stays a good deal below 40 watts with the help of AOpen's i915GMm-HFS. Even when paired with a brawny 3D accelerator card, this system won't exceed the 100 watt mark. Without a doubt, this combination is a very interesting option for always-on computers, as it helps keep the power bill low and doesn't waste energy. Bravo, AOpen!
The Pentium M doesn't do so well in the synthetic applications. However, those don't necessarily mirror performance in real-world scenarios. Indeed, when paired with a GeForce 6800 GT, our Pentium M ran current 3D games such as Doom 3 or Far Cry just as well as a fast Athlon 64 or Pentium 4.
However, when raw number-crunching power is needed, for example when rendering videos and graphics or encoding video and audio files to popular formats such as MPEG2, MP3 and MPEG4, the Pentium M is clearly left in the dust. Unsurprisingly, these fields are dominated by the brawnier Pentium 4 and Athlon 64 processors. For these applications, the higher power consumption of the desktop processors is tolerable, since they actually offer a tangible performance increase in return for their power use.
As a result of the lower signal strength used between the motherboard components and the CPU, mobile chipsets aren't especially suited to overclocking. Users looking to combine the energy efficiency of the Pentium M with high performance from overclocking should keep an eye out for socket 479 with a desktop chipset. We expect to see more of these hybrid boards enter the market over the coming months.

In conclusion, we would say that aside from some of the Athlon 64 processors, the Pentium M is really the most sensible choice if you want to build an x86 machine.

Longhorn's Secret Modder Surprises

Introduction
With the Beta 1 release of Longhorn now just weeks away, it is time to start talking about two little-known features that will particularly appeal to modders and power gamers. These are good signs that Microsoft is getting serious about these audiences; they demonstrate the broad positive impact of actually having game developers on Microsoft's staff.

WinSat: Getting The Most For Your Buck
The first and most comprehensive of the two features is a tool called the Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSat). This is essentially a benchmarking tool designed into Windows, which generates scores based on system performance. It will analyze the graphics subsystem, the processor, the memory, the hard drive and other critical components of the system and calculate a total score. This score can be used to compare your system performance to that of any other Longhorn system.
The system also retains individual and incredibly granular scores on each and every subsystem, and will instruct software components to activate, modify their own settings, or turn themselves off in order to optimize the software for the hardware. This means that, unlike any previous operating system, Longhorn will attempt to adjust its own parameters automatically, to make the most of the performance potential of your hardware.
WinSat will set up two configurations: one for general productivity applications, and one for games. As long as the game developers make the right software call, the system will optimize itself into a generic game configuration so you can approach the most optimized performance possible.
In addition, game developers can make calls to WinSat to trigger both optimization and evaluation events. For optimization, games can automatically turn off features you don't need during game play. They can also call up a screen that points out where your system bottleneck is, and suggest hardware upgrades that will correct system performance issues. The end result is that not only will advanced games play better on a wider variety of configurations, if there is a problem, the system will tell you what the problem is and what you need to do - or more generally, to buy - in order to correct it.
And what if you buy or install a new piece of critical hardware, such as a faster drive, a better video card, faster memory, or anything else that effects system performance? You can run this tool again to automatically reconfigure your system to optimize it for the new hardware you have installed, once again getting the biggest bang for your buck. In addition, parts makers can build a WinSat trigger into the driver load, making this all happen automatically, so even novice users can gain benefits from the tool.
You can also get access to the detailed scores that WinSat generates, and use them to manually optimize your system. While the automatic method uses a fixed set of parameters based on the average user, we all know that you are above average and have special needs and skills. Just as you can overclock your processor, you will be able to modify your system parameters to best optimize the score for how you work or play, and see what the individual and overall impact of those changes actually is. This last feature will definitely separate the men from the boys!
The initial, limited view of this feature will show up in Beta One; it will be command line only until later in the Beta cycle. It will be updated and improved throughout the beta cycle and should be feature complete by Beta 3, which hopefully is due in the first half of next year.

The Stealth Feature For Modders
I'm not even allowed to reveal the code name for this feature, and the final name doesn't apparently exist yet, so I'm just calling it "Mod1". During the boot process, this tool looks for significant hardware changes; if it finds any, it restarts the hardware configuration process. This is the process you generally observe when you first install the operating system, which allows the system to initially boot so you can install the proper drivers. This should eliminate the need to start from scratch every time you change a motherboard, while still avoiding the dreaded "blue screen of death."
This feature is not expected to show up until after Beta One, which is the reason for the secrecy surrounding it. Apparently it is intended as a Christmas present to the modder community from the Microsoft developers, some of whom are evidently modders themselves. There are a number of additional surprise features that will show up late in the Beta cycle, some of which appear designed to really torque off Steve Jobs - we'll talk about those in upcoming months.
Until then, realize that Microsoft has done something significant: it has finally recognized that modders and power gamers are some of its most loyal customers. They plan to reward that loyalty with a product that has features specifically designed to make custom machines run better - now if that isn't cool, I don't know what is.

Headache For A Hitman

This week I will write 2 posts for all of the people that read my blogspot .It has been a great time writing this blogspot to my beloved fans who are reading this blogspot .In the first post ,I will present a post about my life .Later ,I will write a post about computers as I had promise last week .

Life is like the ocean .Sometimes it’s peaceful but some times it turns to the opposite with destructive waves .The only thing that is bothering me is only romance and PMR .When I first knew the girl that I like ,I was still in form 1 . At that time ,I was an idiot child who hasn’t reach the mature level of a teenager should be .Deep inside my heart ,I still have a the feeling of regret and sorrow for being such a useless guy .I really don’t know what to do anymore .I have even thought of forgetting her and concentrate more on my studies but I can’t do it .That’s enough of romance for now .This week ,all of the form 3 students have to be given injection to prevent a disease called “kancing gigi” in malay .After the injection ,we had to endure the side effects of the injection .Most of us felt pain on our arms and even fell sick because of it .I also felt the pain in my left arm .I almost had a fever because of the terrible pain .The pain had cause me much difficulties in my daily activities even when I need to brush my teeth and bathe .Luckily ,the pain did not last long and slowly disappeared the next day . Besides the injection that I am going to talk about ,I am also going to talk about my tuition teacher .I hope he doesn’t know about this or else I am in big trouble .He likes to act as he knows a lot about computers although he does not know a single thing about PC .He says that the Intel processors that we bought outside are pirated or clone and isn’t the original chip .He even says that those chips that were used in computers are made of low quality recycle plastics . That is crap .As far as I know They were made of pure silicon with modern technology .Processors for computers is only produced by Intel and AMD .There are no such things as a pirated or clone processors from China .This is because it needs a high technology and knowledge when it comes to handling with processors .Only Intel and AMD has the technology to produced and designing new processors .(Next post is about hardwares)

Life=study+play+romance

Sorry to all of my blogspot’s readers .I am truly apologized for late writing a new post .As a student and a teenager ,I have a busy life especially this year as I am going to take one of the most important test in my life which is the ‘PMR’ that will determine my future .That means my fate is lying on the hands of the ministry who are responsible of giving the marks .Lets continue with our topic for this week .First ,the ministry had ordered that all secondary school in our country must take a diagnostic test to determine whether we are good in answering the questions in Malay or English .This is a stupid test that is wasting our time .Of course we are better in English as we have been learning some subjects in English for 3 years .It is impossible for us to suddenly change the whole thing to Malay .Doing that is the same as taking away everything that we have .Ok ,back to romance .I just can’t understand her .Sometimes ,she is a quiet person who doesn’t like to talk much but sometimes she is the opposite .We have this kind of conflict .When ,I am busy doing my work or playing she likes to chat but when I am free she is busy doing her work .I just can’t find a suitable time to chat with her .In the end ,I am always worried how am I going to get along with her .Sometimes I just feel like grabbing her by the hand and tell her my feelings and chat with her .Why romance is always that complicated for me ?I really like her and I want to be together with her .Lastly ,I had added my picture on my profile for all of my fans to look at it .Next week ,I will be writing about computers either hardware or software .(Topic may change depending on my mood or incidents that happen in the future)

An emotional week fo a hitman!!!

To those of you out there who is watching my blogspot ,I have some problems which I want to share with all of you .Have you ever feel that the person you like is better than you ?What action will you take to solve this problem ?The problem is the girl who I like is better in maths than me .This makes me feel useless when she has a tough maths problem .I'm trying as hard as I hard could to improve myself in every subject of education but I just can't compete in maths .I'm afraid that what she will think of me as I'm not that helpful in some aspects .Well ,the problem doesn't end here .After I get my exam results ,my father was also dissapointed with me .His request is for me to get full A's in my exam .That is a tough job even for a hitman like me .I tried to explain to him that almost all my friends got higher grades than me because they took chinese while the malays took Islam .Eventhough I told him this excuse ,he just accept the fact that I got 6 A's but 1 B for my BM .If the school didn't count those 2 subjects ,I would get at least the 7th position in my class instead of the 11th .Its just unfair for students like me who are chinese and went to malay school .How am I suppose to take those 2 subjects ?I can't perform magic or a miracle to happen .As a conclusion ,life is tough even for a hitman .Only the tough can survive in this world .For those who wants to look at my picture ,I have included one of my best pictures in this post .Anyone who sees this blogspot are allowed to give comments ,tips and opinions .Feel free to give comments and don't be shy to help chinesehitman.blogspot.com to improve his blogspot and himself .Besides ,I am a very "sporting" hitman .

Don't expect the unexpected in you life !!!

This weekend ,I had experienced lots of things .It was certainly a weekend full of emosion .Ok ,lets begin from Wednesday .That was a tiring day ,as I had to rush to co-curiculum activities in one day !!!First ,my friends and I had to atttend Mrs Tan 's math society until 2.45pm .Then ,we have to rush to the badminton court to attend the badminton club .The next day ,was also a tiring day but the difference is that it is a fun day .We went to University Malaya for as a school trip that was held by the math's society .There were lots of educational things that we can see at there .It was a chance of a life time as there was a math and science expo .That expo gave us a chance to gain some experience and knowledge throughout the trip .On teh third day ,it was quit a dissapointing day because we got our results during that day and I got number 11th in my class .This is because the school is now using the grades to determine our results .For me this quit unfair because I did not took chinese .How do you expect me to compete with them as I came from a malay school .Almost all of them got one more A than me because of chinese .The problem doesn't end there ,because almost of my subjects too got higher marks than them .I worked hard for the exams but I got nothing in the end .I wish to complain my unsatisfactory to the minister of education but it is hopeless to that because our country is not totally democratic according to my tuition teacher .How am I going to explain to my father about my results ?His demands are usually high when it comes to education due to the fact I am the only son that can study well in the family .(I think heard him saying that to a friend before)Well ,there goes my DVD Rom and my 512mb ram .The condition for this upgrades on my computer is I must get at least the 5th in my class .Oh ,how I wish I can get to play GTA San Andreas .As a conclusion ,don't expect too much of the unexpexted in your life .You might just get the expected thing in the end .

Boring day at school

Lots of things happen at school today .First ,there was a long assembly at school .The dicpline teacher and the "ikan bilis" teacher has a fever in my opinion .They talked non-stop for 1 hour which really made not only the students bored but the prefects as well .The part that I think most annoying was the part where "ikan bilis" talked about computers as if he was expert .He said that the famous Intel Pentium 4 was outdated .He even said that Japan is now using 3G Computer which is even greater than PC which uses Pentium 4 as the CPU .In real fact ,3G is a mobile phone that can be used to watch TV news .He even said that we are outdated as well because most of us uses Pentium 2 or 3 in our homes .That is ridiciulos (I'm not sure how to spell this word) .Athough I am poor ,I'm using a PC with Pentium 4 2.8Ghz ,256MB ram ,ATI Radeon 9600SE(AGP 8X)that support pixel shader 2.0 with a 325Mhz engine speed and a 400 Mhz memory speed ,MSI PT880 Neo as a motherboard and a Maxtor 80 GB hard disk which is just enough to support the minimum requirements of modern 3D games .I think he doesn't even know what is ram or graphic card .In class ,we studied as usual but the situation gets hot during science period .Our teacher was not happy with one of our classmates who is also a prefect because of his attitude for always sending his assignment late and forgets to bring his exercise book .I was wondering too ,why the person I like did not came today .Is she ill ?Ah I almost forget something ,Killer XXX if you tell this to anybody else I will slaugter you myself .Don't forget ,I am a hitman .(That means a profesional killer also)I like using the stealth way to assasinate my victim .

Life at School

There is a lot of things going on today .Well ,first one my friend nickname Lychee suddenly showed interest in buddism .He told me to bring a cassette of recitation of Buddha's name to listen when the teacher is out but I disagreed because it would be a major laugh for our classmates when they saw us listening to this kind of stuff .Besides ,not all our classmates believe in Buddha's teaching .This really disapointed him .Some of them don't even believe in anything and think god as a fairytale .Today ,I think the person I like talk something behind my back .I think she was saying that I was impolite because I didn't say hi to her when I saw her .Actually ,she said I hi to me but I did not do the same thing back to her but instead I only waved at her .Maybe she did not saw it .If this is the problem ,I would really like to say that I'm sorry and happy birthday to her because I forgot her birthday was last Saturday .

Sunday ,should it be a fun or a boring day ?

Well ,most people think Sunday is a fun and exciting day where they can go somwhere to have fun like shopping but not for me .Almost every Sunday ,I will be stuck in my home and do nothing .The most fun I can get is by sitting in front of my computer and play some of my games that I have played for like decads already .Today ,a friend of mine visited me when his school co-curiculum activities ended .He always think of my house and my PC as a free of charge gaming arcade .Sometimes ,I think of him as a pest because he always come for a long time without even think of leaving until her mother called .This really annoys me as he disturbs my private time to study and play .Oh yeah.Today ,I saw something on the TV .It was my country's politic group (UMNO)celebrating something called PUTERA UMNO .They made all kinds of activities such as marching ,sport and "...................." .Then talk lots of rubbish in front of the camera .In my opinion ,this is just a waste of time and money .I don't remember other modern countries doing this kind of stuff .They should be doing political stuffs and think ways of improving our economy rather than thinking a way to celebrate and have fun .I was deeply disappointed with our economy .Everything is starting to getting more expensive since that bastard "Badawi" became the Prime Minster of our contry .Our country has all kinds of recources such as minerals ,petroleum ,natural gas ,latex and much more that should make our economy grow but instead it turns upside down .Even Singapore which has no natural recources and is only a tiny country can outstand our economy .The value of their money is almost twice the value of our money .How can this be since we all kinds of natural recources while they don't .What kind of brain does our leader has ?I truely hope that they learn from their mistake someday and improve our country to its best .Otherwise ,I think I might have to migrate to China someday just like my friend's ambition .

Life as a student and a teenager

I am a normal student just like the rest of you who are reading this blogspot .In school ,Ihave standard results in my exam just like a normal student unlike those crazy book geeks .As a teenager ,I too has a crush on a girl at school .She is quite pretty and clever .But sometimes ,I think she is too serious doing everything For example school folio .She is always asking this ,wondering this and that .On the other hand ,I only do the the things that I think that is important for the folio .The problem is with me and her is ,I am afraid of taking any action to tell her my feelings about her .Sometimes I get nervous when I talk to her causing me to speak nonsense in front of her .If anyone of you found and sees this blogspot ,you can write only useful tips for me at the comment area .(I do mean it when I said only useful tips)
