Now, I’m in a dilemma which I usually don’t have. Not long ago, I accidentally dropped my cellular phone when I was asleep. It happened out of the blue when the alarm of my cellular phone activated. Annoyed by the noise, I accidentally pushed my cellular phone which I put at the table beside my bed, causing it to drop to the ground in the midst of trying to deactivate the alarm. The sound of the crash woke me up and I was shocked at what happened. When I picked it up, it was switched off. I couldn’t switch it back on. Then, I opened the casing of the phone and tried the usual knocking and shaking, hoping that it can be switched back on again. After a few attempts, I can switch it back on again but it was not the same as before. I think the impact damaged the transmitter of my cellular phone because I can't get a full signal bar. Now, I would only get 2 signal bars out of 4 when I am at outdoors. Worst of all, it can’t receive any signal at all when it is indoors. Fortunately, there’s a transmitter dish at the condominium beside my house. So, I would get 2 signal bars at home. Sometimes, the phone would turn off itself when I press a button. I’m in a dilemma of whether to buy a new cellular phone or to repair it. Repairing the phone would probably cost RM50 only but I have also considered the fact that this phone is 5 years old and have been repaired a few times before. Even if I repaired it, it would probably break down again in a few months. So, I was wondering whether or not to buy a new cheap cellular phone which ranges from RM150 to RM200. A cellular phone with a camera would also be convenient. I can make my blog more interesting by putting more photos. Sometimes, I find my blog quite dull too because 90% of my blog are just words. I don’t need fancy phones with GPRS, 3G technology, and web browsers because my main objective of having a cellular phone is for communication purposes. Can you help me to decide? I’ll put up a poll at the bottom of my blog for you to vote.

Whether you think choices are good or bad, it is part of economics. We are not living the communist way where choices are limited. But I think choices are bad.
Whether you want those fancy cellphone features or not, some of those have become a usual feature. For example, GPRS, color display and polyphonic ring tones playback.
Sometimes is better to shelf out a huge sum of money to buy a better phone that are more easier to use. Low end phones doesn't have the multitasking ability like your PC. You can only do one task at a time, which is not productive.
Better to pay some more so that your phone is future proof.
wah.. so kesian meh?
Anyway you can try to join contests to win phones mah. I won a Canon Ixus one. :) GOod luck.
My phone also cacat already. But I prefer to spend my money on something else, like traveling.
I don't know why all the students carry a cellphone. All I see is they use the phone for chatting or is it the "trend". I have a cellphone but I use only for necessary calling and I don't like to chat too long as the scientist says will caused brain cancer.
I think student don't neccessary need a cellphone as they can chat through e-mail or internet or phone. Besides the cost of the new cellphone, everymonth have to pay a lump sum of dollar for bill. Students all are not financially independent and all are paid by parents. Unless your parents can afford for your bill otherwise don't think about it.
When you able to earn an income (working), you could buy any stylish or updated cell you like.
Hope my advise would solve your dilemma. Think careful before you spend, this is called "wise spending".
Don't waste your hard earn money !
